ReplyDelete1. 15 men can type 3240 pages in 6 days working 2 hours per day. How many men would be required to type 5400 pages working 4 hours per day for 3 days?
Sir give me a solution for this question
Sorry for late response, no one was available.
DeleteAnswer of this question is quite simple, just follow the steps:
use formula: work = No. of men x No. of days x No. of Hours,
so
W1/w2 = (M1xD1xH1)/(M2xD2xH2)
w1 = 3240, D1 = 6, H1 = 2, M1 = 15 and
let M2 men are required to complete 5400 pages then,
w2 = 5400, D1 = 3, H1 = 4 we get
3240/5400 = (15x6x2)/(M2x3x4),
Solve this equation you will get
M2 = 25 days.
